The yoga house is set in a peaceful location, surrounded by pine trees, olive trees, and views of the crystal-clear sea – just a few kilometres from Hvar Town, yet far enough away from the bustle.
Here, everyday life can move into the background for a few days – giving you space to reconnect with yourself.
The Story of Bella Spiaggia
For a long time, I dreamed of creating a place by the sea – a place where people could step away from everyday life, find stillness, and recharge.
I spent a long time searching for a place that felt exactly right. Until I discovered this bay on Hvar.
The stillness, the sea, the pine trees, the light – this place had a very special energy.
I knew: this was where Bella Spiaggia should come to life.
With patience, time, and great attention to detail, the little house was renovated step by step and transformed into the place I had always envisioned. It was important to me to preserve the natural surroundings and choose materials thoughtfully – including the beautiful natural stone from the neighbouring island of Brač.
As the bay is not connected to the public electricity grid, Bella Spiaggia is powered by its own photovoltaic system and operates independently using solar energy. Using energy and water mindfully and respecting the natural environment are an essential part of the way we live here.
This is how Bella Spiaggia came to be: a place that lives in harmony with its surroundings – where nature is not simply the backdrop, but part of the experience.
The Place
Bella Spiaggia lies in a sheltered bay directly by the sea.
Pine forests, olive trees, and the rugged coastline create the unique atmosphere of this place and invite you to slow down and experience each day more consciously.
The name Bella Spiaggia comes from Italian and means “beautiful beach” – inspired by the untouched bay stretching out directly in front of the house.
Swimming in crystal-clear water, walking along the coast, and looking out across the sea naturally become part of everyday life here.
Perhaps it is precisely this combination of sea, nature, and stillness that makes Bella Spiaggia so special.
Hvar – An Island to Slow Down
Hvar is one of the sunniest islands in the Croatian Adriatic, with crystal-clear waters, fragrant pine forests, purple lavender fields, ancient olive groves, and a distinctly Mediterranean way of life.
It is no coincidence that, since 1997, Hvar has been named among the ten most beautiful islands in the world by Traveller Magazine.
The island also has a long tradition as a place of rest and recuperation. As early as the 19th century, Hvar was valued for its mild climate and natural surroundings. Empress Elisabeth – Sisi – also supported the development of the island's health and spa facilities at the time (today: Hotel Palace Elisabeth in Hvar Town).
The combination of a mild climate, sea air, and Mediterranean nature continues to shape the unique atmosphere of the island today.
Hvar invites you to spend time outdoors, swim in the sea, explore the coastline, and reconnect with the natural rhythm of light, movement, and rest.

Just a few kilometres from Bella Spiaggia lies the historic old town of Hvar.
Narrow streets, centuries-old stone houses, charming squares, the harbour, and the lively waterfront combine history with Mediterranean atmosphere.
Take a stroll through the old town, enjoy a coffee by the harbour, discover local cuisine, or end the day with dinner by the sea.
Bella Spiaggia is intentionally set slightly apart – close enough to experience Hvar, yet far enough away to return to the quiet of the bay whenever you wish.
